If you visit your VoIP Detective appliance's website and see the following message


Connect failed: Connection Refused


There is likely a problem starting the database service on your VoIP Detective appliance.  We often see this if a VM has lost access to it's datastore, or crashed in some fashion.  


Resolution:

Connect to the command line interface of VoIP Detective by either using an SSH connection, or by your hypervisor's console.  Default passwords can be found here.



Choose the option for Troubleshooting



Choose the option for 'Connect failed: Connection refused'



To finish removing the database locks, we'll need to reboot.  Choose the option to reboot the virtual machine




Attempt to access VoIP Detective again
