VoIP Detective offers what we call Data Privacy, which allows the administrator to have call reports show a portion of the phone number as hidden.

Some countries and businesses have regulations on what data may or may not be shown to employees (such as the GDPR in the European Union). Enabling this setting will replace the last characters of an outside caller's phone number with Xs. VoIP Detective users will not be able to determine the entire phone number of the outside caller.

This setting affects inbound reports, outbound reports, team reports, and scheduled emails.

To enable Data Privacy, go to Administration -> Configuration and scroll down to the data privacy section

Once you enable data privacy, please go back (reload) Administration -> Configuration.  You will now be given the option to choose how many digits to mask.

Finally, you are able to choose the method that VoIP Detective uses to mask numbers.  We recommend to "mask everything" which will mask both internal extensions and external numbers.  If you'd prefer to keep internal extensions unmasked, you have the option to mask everything that has a different length than your "extension length", or you can mask only numbers that begin with your "external call prefix".
